Step-by-step walkthrough
- Navigate to /portal/forum. -> The forum home loads showing all available categories with thread counts.
- Click a category to browse its threads. -> The thread list shows the most recent activity at the top.
- Click New Thread to post a question or share a solution. -> The compose form opens; fill in the title, select a category, write the body, then click Post.
- Open a thread and use Reply to add a response. -> Your reply appears below the last post in the thread.
- Click the Accept button on the best reply in your thread. -> The accepted answer is highlighted and earns the author reputation points.
Common issues
New Thread button is missing or disabled
You must be signed in with an approved consultant account to post. Check your account status on the Apply or Profile pages. If your account is pending, wait for administrator approval.
My post does not appear after clicking Post
Check for validation errors in the form — a missing title or category will prevent submission. If all fields are filled and the post still does not appear, refresh the page and check the thread list.
Tips
Write descriptive titles
Specific titles get more helpful answers. Instead of "audit prep question," use "ISO 9001 clause 8.4 gap with no citations — how do I fix this?"
Accept answers to close the loop
Click Accept on the best reply to mark your question as resolved. This helps other consultants find solved threads quickly when searching for similar issues.

Browse the category list to find threads relevant to your current client work. Quality management, audit prep, and 5S are the most active categories.
